A directory is only useful if you can rely on what is in it. Here is how we try to keep Bizopo useful and trustworthy across local services, events and support.
Accurate, useful listings
People who add listings must keep their information accurate and up to date. We may ask for evidence or changes, but publication does not mean that Bizopo has independently checked every statement or guarantees a provider, organiser or service.
Businesses and services
A Verified badge means Bizopo has manually checked available business and contact information and considers the business to appear genuine and trading. It is not an endorsement or a check of insurance, qualifications, financial standing or criminal records, and it cannot be bought.
Event safety
Event details come from organisers or public sources and can change. Check the latest time, venue, accessibility and entry information before travelling. For paid, supervised or higher-risk activities, ask the organiser any questions you need answered before attending.
Local support safety
Local support listings help people discover independent groups, organisations and services. Bizopo does not supervise them or guarantee their suitability. Check who provides the support, ask how it works, and seek qualified or emergency help directly where the situation requires it.
Reviews and reporting
Reviews should describe genuine experiences and businesses can reply publicly. If a listing, review or interaction seems inaccurate, unsafe, misleading or inappropriate, report it or contact us with enough detail for us to understand the concern.
Privacy and personal information
Share only the information needed to make an enquiry or explain a listing. Do not publish sensitive details about yourself or somebody else. Providers and organisers should use suitable contact details and handle information they receive responsibly.
When something seems wrong
Bizopo takes reports seriously. Where appropriate, we may investigate, ask for changes, restrict visibility, suspend access or remove a listing. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services rather than waiting for a response from Bizopo.
