A directory is only useful if you can rely on what is in it. Here is how we try to keep Sheppey Services trustworthy for both customers and businesses.
Verified businesses
Verified listings have had their identity and contact details confirmed, and where relevant we ask to see trade registrations such as Gas Safe or a waste carrier licence.
Honest reviews
Reviews left after an enquiry made through Sheppey Services are marked as such. Businesses can reply publicly once to any review, but cannot delete them.
Easy reporting
Every profile and review has a report link. Reports are reviewed by a real person and businesses can be suspended while an issue is investigated.
Sensible precautions
Always get a written quote before work starts, check insurance for trades, and never pay large deposits in cash for work that has not begun.
